The Morning Ride Checking the Fence Lines

To do list

I have been needing to check the fence lines for quite some time. I recently had one wash out part repaired by my friend Julio. I have not been able to ride the fence line because my four wheeler has been out of sorts. We recently got it repaired and now I am ready to check the fences.

The four wheeler has seen better days

Here I go I hop on the four wheeler and get ready to go exploring. I love these rides because I never know what I will see on the property. This morning I saw a rabbit but I was not quick enough to snap a picture.

Sunrise behind the gate.

This is a make shift gat that really needs to be repaired. It is very hard for me to open it. I will put that on my list for Julio to help me with.

Daniel’s new goats

My neighbor Daniel moved in on the back side of the property not too long ago. Him and his wife own a Nigerian grocery in Dallas, Texas. Their plan is to start a greenhouse and raise African vegetables for their grocery. They asked if they could purchase two donkeys from me so they could get an agricultural exemption on their property takes. I had my neighbor’s donkeys on my neighbor Dalton’s donkeys at my place and Dalton agreed for them to be sold. We got Jack over to Daniel’s place but could never get Jenny to get on a trailer. Now Daniel wants me to get Jack back to Dalton’s place and he is going to start raising goats. Hmmm, how is this my delima? I will get the message to Dalton for Daniel.

What the Hey?

The four wheeler has stopped again and left me in the middle of my 50 acres. I will be walking the fence line by foot. LOL.

Sweet baby goats and Mamma

When I walked up to the fence line and say the goats, the momma goat fell down and rolled on to her back. I believe she is a Fainting Goat. There are a few babies out there. I would like to raise goats. They are very sweet but you have to have good fences. I am having a hard enough time with the cattle fences.

The goat says hi

Here is a picture of Jack the Donkey.

A close up. She is too cute.
This fence could use some repair.
A tree fell on this fence.
On this one as well.
This could use a little work.
Here is some washout.
One of my girls stepped out to say hi to me. Love it

Here is one of my girls wishing me a Hello. I have not seen the others. They are at the neighbors or are finding shade under the trees.

Rail Ties

Maybe these can be used to help with the fence line. Who knows. It’s time to call Julio and see if he can get those fences cleared out for me and repaired. Then I need to call my cowboy friend to capture my cows from my neighbor Donald. It is all about working together. I am sure Donald is ready to get my cows back to where they belong.

Peace out and Jesus Loves you.
