Comes Around Goes Around

Good morning world. I have been away for a minute focusing on life changes. I have recently remarried and am starting a new life with a new partner. I will be turning 62 this year on my birthday in December. I just want to be an example to my followers that it is never too late to start over.

My new last name is Hernandez, but you guys can still call me Dinky. I got married at the court house in Lampasas Texas USA. My husband and I both enjoy collecting antiques and shopping at resale stores. We enjoy going on road trips. We are currently planning a trip to Port Aransas to go on a Bay fishing trip. It will be loads of fun. We rent a condominium for the week. It is the same condo every year. The beach is literally just a two minute walk away. This trip will be at the end of September. I will try to keep you guys updated.

I am excited about my new adventures. I am still a QA Project lead at a coffee manufacturing plant. I have a great team working with me and look forward to what is to come at the job.

The farm here is also on the move up. During the days Chuck was ill, some of the cow herd traveled to the neighbors property. I counted it as a loss. There were about 5 cows that escaped. I have since repaired the wash out area of the fence. I visited with the neighbor and the grand son in law told me he still has my cows. Wow what a blessing. They have now multiplied to around 20. Cool. I will keep you guys updated on that as well.

I have taken the summer off from cooking, the heat is a killer in Texas. I have been collecting cool cookbooks at the estate sales. I look forward to sharing interesting recipes with you folks. The collection of books is massive. Let me know which ones you are the most interested in and I will try to put them out there for you.

I have also been listing some of my estate sale items on EBay. My name on EBay is grandmadinkydo. Check it out and see if you find anything you like.

I have a few other projects in the wings. I will update you guys when I am ready to share. Stay safe and happy.

Hello, my name is Dinky. This is a name given to me in my first marriage. It is my grandma name. A few other selected individuals address me as such. I am a onetime divorced, one-time widowed single woman trying to discover the real me. I will take you on my journey. Read if you are interested. I feel that I am a hard knock educated person. I have been a working mother, a stay-at-home wife, a Christian, a caretaker, and a retired woman. I am always seeking wisdom on how to improve as a person and hopefully I can share as I learn more. I have many interests. I enjoy cooking because I enjoy eating. I am not a great cook but am eager to try new recipes. I will share these with you. I have a degree in business management and a certification in food science. I have worked man years in the food manufacturing industry. I also have a small farm. I have some cows, a donkey, some wild horses a bull and two dogs. I would like to explore more homesteading techniques and become self-sustained. Maybe we can learn together. I encourage your input and ideas. I have spent many years learning how to make quilts. This is another hobby I would like to get back into. I am always up to learn new crafts and explore new projects. I am really big on goal setting and finding ways to make my life simpler. I will take you through some of my ideas on that progress. Lastly, but biggest on my list is that I am a Christian in continual growth mode. I will never be all that I should, and I will never judge people in regard to their own journey.
